"Over 4 million Africans and their descendants were enslaved in the United States and its colonies alone from 1619 to 1865, and as a result, the United States was able to begin its grand place as the most prosperous country in the free world.

It has been a controverted agenda for the United States and other countries to deny Reparations to African slaves; not to compensate for their labor. More ignored facts are the    effects slavery have had on  Africans and those of Diaspora from the time of the so-called emancipation unto today."
